World of Warcraft – The Best Profession for a Shaman

The Shaman is a hybrid class in World of Warcraft, it can become either healers, casters or DPS melees. And as a Shaman, what profession should you choose? This article will give you some advice.

Skinning and Leatherworking are ideal professions for questing and grinding. You can find all of the materials which are required to level both professions during daily leveling, so you don’t need to purchase expensive materials from the Auction House. By leveling up Leatherworking, Shamans can make impressive pre-raid gear for themselves regardless of their talent spec. And the buff Master of Anatomy which comes with Skinning is very useful for Shamans, because it will add 32 to the critical strike rating.

Enchanting is also a popular choice. You can create some very nice pre-raiding gear with Enchanting, especially if combine with Tailoring. You can save some wow gold with the combination of Tailoring and Enchanting since Restoration and Elemental Shamans often wear cloth armor.

Herbalism and Alchemy can always be a solid combination for Shamans. By learning these two professions, you can save money on potions. The Life Blood buff, which heals for 2000hp over 5 seconds, can easily become a lifesaver out on the battlefield.
